Originally hailing from Selby in Yorkshire, Graeme currently lives in the Cotswolds with his partner and her three dogs – an old, blind Patterdale terrier, an old, deaf Boxer, and a Staffie-cross. And if they don’t like you, you know about it. “I love dogs because they don’t judge and they’re very honest,” said Graeme. Though he had lived with a dog-owning ex-partner, these were the first dogs he ever had “from scratch.” His passion for dog training was ignited when he got two Rottweiler puppies when he was about 40. But he used to be a senior manager for cereal company Weetabix. Watching Graeme quickly transform naughty dogs’ behaviour – and the lives of their families – on Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, it’s easy to assume the 57-year-old has been working with dogs all his life.
